Onizuka is an ex-biker and gang leader who has one goal, to become the greatest teacher. He learns of the power and respect possible as an intern teacher, using his strength and connections to get his students to respect him. Amawa Hibiki is a young man just out of college, with an education to be an athletics teacher. He's been having a hard time finding a job since he graduated, so all his money has gone towards living expenses. When his landlady demands his first payment to live in her living establishment upfront, he heads to the local middle school to get hired as a teacher. However, the principal refuses to hire him without hesitation. She will not hire men as teachers and makes it clear that she hates all men, saying they put no love into their passions and work. Amawa does not give up and with the help of his landlady, he crossdresses as a woman without a second thought, and gets hired, so he can earn money and also prove the principal wrong. Now, he has to keep his real gender a secret, and avoid strange situations, including the affections of his students (from both genders).

Touka Gettan is set in the land of Kamitsumihara, where traces of magic and legend can still be seen. The land has been under the protection of the Kamiazuma clan since it was founded. 16-year-old Shintaro Kurenai is a Mediator - a specialist in settling squabbles between people. And Yuuno’s younger (7-year-old) sister, Chi-chan (Houdsuki Chidzuru) also seems to take a troubling worry when her ‘onii-chan’ gets beaten up by Yuuno or his assignments.

Despite Ryūji Takasu's gentle personality, his eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquent so he is utterly hopeless about his chances of getting a girlfriend anytime soon, and does not have many close friends either. After being greeted by his hungover mother in the morning, Ryūji goes to school and is happy to find that he gets to be in the same class as his best friend Yūsaku Kitamura and crush Minori Kushieda. However, it is then that he unexpectedly knocks into "the school's most dangerous animal of the highest risk level" — Taiga Aisaka — who just happens to also be in his class, and is a good friend of Minori.

Hakusenkan Gakuen High School, where the protagonist, Hanazono Hikari, attends, has a placement system. It has 6 streamed classes from A to F. Class A consists of the top 7 students and are admired by the other students. Of all A classes, from the first to the third grade, the most highly regarded class is called S.A, short for Special A. The students of S.A, the elite of elites, get special treatment; they wear special uniforms and study in a separate school building called the paradise on campus.

The seven students of S.A are: Hanazono Hikari, Takishime Kei, Todo Akira, Karino Tadashi, Yamamoto Megumi, Yamamoto Jun, and Tuji Ryu. Hikari is a hard worker. While the other students are children of rich families, she is raised in a common family. She attends this elite school in order to avenge her loss to Kei in a wrestling match when she was 6 years old. She thinks of Kei as a rival, and continues challenging Kei. However, she cannot beat him at any endeavor, and always finishes in second place.

Boarding school Kurosu Gakuen has two courses, the standard course (day class) which normal students attend, and the evening course (night class) for very smart and beautiful students. First grader Kurosu Yuki belongs to the day class. Yuki and her childhood friend Kiryu Zero crack down on day class students who bother the beautiful students of the night class. Miaka Yuuki, an average middle school student caught up in studying for exams, is sucked into an ancient Chinese novel titled "The Universe of Four Gods".
